What is chiropractor marketing? Many of the “marketing terms get tossed around and mostly used as a catch all.
So lets take a little time to explain the differences in the Chiropractor Marketing Terms.
Marketing: This is essentially the overall heading for everything you do. The most common terms we hear with marketing are the 5 P’s.
Chiropractor Marketing Definitions:
- Advertising is used to capture the market from people who are already looking for and have a need for your product or price.
- Sales is the process of establishing need in the marketing place that does not necessary see the need or it is very low or they are purchasing elsewhere.
- Promotions are discounts and benefits to entice the potential consumer.
- Publicity is not something you control and can be good or bad. It just gets your name out there and hopefully you are creating a positive publicity.
All of these forms of “marketing” have their formulas and placement for which should follow the other.
What most chiropractor marketing students I have found do not realize that each marketing category has a science to it.
You do not have to re-invent the wheel, however most chiropractors do not study and in my experience do not want to study marketing, after all they are chiropractors.
The absolute most important reason you need to know the difference between sales and advertising is that only 8% of the population is searching for chiropractic care annually.
How ever it is chiropractor marketing “Sales” formula that is responsible to capturing portions of the 92% marketing who are not seeking chiropractic care.
I was able to open 77 chiropractic offices because of my knowledge in not only adverting but sales.
I taught the skill set on how to get 10 to 20 people together in a room and “sale” them on chiropractic care.
